Due to continued growth, my Reading based client are seeking a PCB Design Engineer to join their small engineering team in the design and development of single board computer products, from definition through to introduction and manufacturing. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PCB Design Engineer to join this world leader in the design and development of high performance computer products. Due to continued growth, my Reading based client are seeking a PCB Design Engineer to join their small engineering team in the design and development of single board computer products, from definition through to introduction and manufacturing. The responsibilities for a PCB Design Engineer : - Laying our PCB's of varying technology to rules supplied by the design engineers using High Speed design- A fully connected and checked PCB ready for PCB fabrication- Output manufacturing data for PCB fabrication and Assembly The ideal PCB Design Engineer will have experience of some of the following: - Extensive experience laying out High- Speed, HDI PCBs- Qualified to HNC level in mechanics or electronic engineering- Use of Cadence Allegro PCB tool-set, using the High Speed As a PCB Design Engineer, you will be part of a small team with a high level of responsibility for your own designs, so you will need to have the ability to work to demanding time scales, and be able to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to the projects. This is a remote position but the candidate would need to be in the UK as they might need to travel into the Colchester or Reading site now and again.
