Position Summary: The Project Manager is Emsere's point of contact and representative towards his/her customers. He/she is responsible for the total oversight on projects from study set up to completion and for coordinating internal communication with involved departments and managing relationships with third parties to generate repeat business. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Setup, maintenance, and finalization of his/her projects within the organization Create, follow up and complete deals, quotes, and budgets for existing customers Monitor current contracts for term and pricing expiration Monitor the customer's budget in accordance with the corresponding signed agreements Monitor the continuity of projects by ongoing reviews and amendments when required Create and distribute customer and/or study specific progress reports on an ad hoc basis Conduct follow up with customer to ensure and optimize customer satisfaction Able to delegate administrative tasks to Project Assistants, while supporting them in the execution Manage and develop key accounts to increase repeat business and explore new opportunities Detect customer needs, allowing for business growth Increase the turnover, by offering new services and products to existing customers Collect strategic industry information by following customer responses Consult on an ongoing basis with: the Product & Procurement Manager the Manager Distribution or the QA Manager the Contract Manager the Finance department Maintain Quality Service and Departmental Standards by: Read, understand, and adhere to company procedures, policies, and SOP's Provide feedback on SOP's when the opportunity arises Contribute to team effort by: Exploring new opportunities to add value to departmental processes Helping others to accomplish results Performing other duties as assigned and deemed necessary Perform additional tasks as needed by the overall business Additional Responsibilities: Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) as required Participate in annual recurrent training specific to duties and other training as recommended by the Fulfillment department and/or management Interpret and establish department's key performance indicators (KPI) based on yearly organizational goals Initiate and conduct daily and/or weekly departmental or management meetings Conduct regular customer meetings weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly Actively participate in environmental, health and safety processes and procedures Experience: Minimum of one-year relevant professional experience Basic understanding of key financial terms Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills Proven ability to delegate responsibilities Strong communicator, self-directed, motivated and goal oriented Basic understanding of quality management, specifically ISO9001 Basic understanding of GxP guidelines and regulations, specifically GDP & GCP Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS excel, etc.) Demonstrated Capabilities: Related experience including medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech and/or CRO industry experience inclusive of study management experience managing complex clinical studies Prior clinical research experience with class III medical devices Medical device project management experience Understanding of regulatory requirements related to ISO9001, ISO13485, FDA, GxP and/or MDR Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments with various deadlines High Business acumen and attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint Communication Skills: Fluent in English and preferably a foreign language (Spanish, Mandarin, German, or French) Physical Requirements: Lifting and Carrying: Able to carry up to 10 pounds on an intermittent basis Hearing: Corrected hearing able to respond to emergency alarms, alerts and warnings, ability to hear via telephone, teleconference, and work-related conversations Pushing/Pulling/Manipulation: Able to push and pull items in the workplace Sitting: Able to sit and work in front of a computer or other machine for extended periods of time Squatting/Kneeling: Able to squat and kneel as needed to retrieve or place items on low shelving Standing: Able to stand for long periods of time Physical requirements are like a moderate activity job EQUAL OPPORTUNITY: Emsere, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship status, age, disability, political affiliation, or belief.
