Summary The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including employee orientation, benefits administration, compensation, rewards, and conflict resolution, and enforcing company policies and practices. This role will work for MOBIS Alabama, LLC. Savannah Plant (MAL-SV) and MOBIS North America electrified powertrain LLC (MNAe). Essential Functions:(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.) •Oversee and refine employee standards and procedures, using existing HR systems as well as improved or recommended processes •Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expense reimbursement, and vacation •Ensure compliance with national and local HR regulations by conducting investigations and maintaining records •Identify and recommend improvements to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale building •Support departments in developing and delivering strategic HR plans that fit with the overall business direction •Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences, resolving employee grievances, training managers in how to coach and discipline, and counseling employees and supervisors •Champion the onboarding process by ensuring that it's high-quality and up to date, and provide clarity and connection for employees so their roles serve the overall business vision •Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures •Build strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration •Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees •Handle confidential matters with discretion •Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes Basic Qualifications: (The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.) Required Education & Experience: •Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field of study •At least ten years of HR Management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment •At least five years' experience in a large operation of 500-plus employees Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: •Working knowledge of all aspects of employment law, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, new hire orientation, and initial training expectations. •Proven ability to develop, deploy, and maintain legally compliant HR Systems. •Proven ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations and job-specific training. •Proven ability to produce and administer legally compliant job performance improvement plan documents designed to change poor job performance. •Ability to write and speak clearly to ensure ongoing legal compliance. •Proven ability to exceed expectations with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. •Ability to write and administer legally compliant handbook policies and procedures. Preferred Education & Experience: •Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field of study •Experience serving on a 401 (k) Fiduciary Committee and experience with 401 (k) audits •Experience in negotiating with third-party benefit consultants to ensure competitive pricing and plan designs Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Professional HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) or higher Working Conditions : Office setting, some walking and standing within and between buildings Job Type : Full-time Expected Start Date: Negotiable Compensation & Benefits: •MAL-SV and MNAe offer opportunities for growth, work flexibility, and competitive pay and benefits. •MAL-SV and MNAe offer our employees with competitive Medical / Vision / Dental insurance. •The 401K offers our employees with competitive 401k program. •MAL-SV and MNAe offer relocation packages as part of the HR Policy.
