OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for a Scrum Master to support our Army customer in Huntsville, AL. Job Responsibilities include: The Scrum Master will plan Scrum implementations, lead and coach Scrum adoption while working with a highly technical team of developers, engineers and scientists developing advanced software capabilities and technical solutions for a tactical mission planning system. The Scrum Master will guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers. Individual will also be responsible for leading the team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and ensure Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines. The Scrum Master will also work with the team to solve problems and drive continuous improvement and business owner satisfaction, while also helping to develop project plans, roadmaps and manage backlog. Monitoring backlog daily and ensuring it accurately reflects the current state of the sprint is an important duty of this position. Individual will also work with product owners and stakeholders to refine vision and establish goals and metrics, then track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to all affected teams and management. Required Skills: Experience as a scrum master Scrum master certification Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication Ability to prepare written reports, publications, and presentation models Experience with information technology systems Ability to collaborate within a team environment using a variety of tools Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience using Jira and Confluence Ability to meet deadlines while managing competing priorities Required Education: Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree +12 years of experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree. Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
