Scheduler About River Edge Behavioral Health Serving more than 10,000 Georgians, River Edge continues to be one of the state's leading resources for mental health, substance use disorder treatments and supports as well as individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. River Edge is looking for a Scheduler who is passionate about assisting clients in accessing services in order to "make life better." This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with a team. The primary responsibility of this position is to answer phone calls and schedule appointments for River Edge outpatient clinics. They will also be responsible for making sure appointments are scheduled accurately and in a timely manner Schedule/Location : Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm 175 Emery Hwy., Macon GA 31217 Responsibilities: Answer phone in a professional, positive manner. Direct calls or schedule appointments as necessary. Schedules all doctor appointments, outpatient visits, group and community support services for the client's appropriate service area. Insures client is scheduled directly with the approved third party insurance payer. Verify client records for correct authorization, connects, treatment plan, intake assessment, and annual updates. Verifies client has a current financial application, registration, and current ANSA or CANS on file. Qualifications Needed (education and/or experience): Fully COVID Vaccinated. Must be 21 years of age. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of third party insurance eligibility payers, Carelogic and/or electronic medical records, and CPT and ICD-9 coding. Positive energy person, good communicator. Can handle and protect confidential information. All applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.
