The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provide state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. River Edge is currently hiring nurses for jobs in our substance abuse recovery centers and mental health clinics. Location/Schedule: Bibb Adult Outpatient - 175 Emery Hwy, Macon GA 31217 | Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm Duties & Responsibilities: Provide a broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/consumers and their families, participates in treatment team planning, and performs crisis intervention. Assist in dealing with personal and social problems. May provide supportive counseling to consumers and families and/or serve as a liaison for social services. May perform case management duties, care for ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled persons. Minimum Training & Experience: A Current Georgia license to practice as a licensed practical nurse. Preferred Experience: Previous experience delivery of behavioral health services is a plus. All selected applicants must pass a satisfactory background and pre-employment drug screen. This position is subject to close at any time once a satisfactory applicant pool has been identified.
