The Summit Station Site Manager is responsible for management of the overall site and will coordinate primary aspects of day-to-day operations at Summit Station across all departments. Responsible for planning, hiring, logistics and coordination with station personnel to ensure successful implementation of tasking and research support. The Summit Site Manager also participates in long-range planning activities for Summit Station with a focus on operations tasking and inter-departmental coordination onsite. As the Summit Station Site Manager, the team relies on your leadership and management for the overall operation of the station while coordinating primary aspects of day-to-day operations. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SUMMIT SITE STATION MANAGER BS/BA and five years of relevant work experience that includes remote field experience. Broad management and leadership experience, specifically leading remote teams and operations. Authorization to work in the U.S. Possession of current and valid US passport & driver's license Covid-19 vaccination Polar logistics planning is preferred, and remote air operations support experience would be a plus. WORK SCHEDULE FOR A SUMMIT SITE MANAGER This is a 40-hour position based at our dog-friendly office in Littleton, CO with work-from-home/telecommute flexibility. Plus, you'll get the opportunity to deploy to Summit Station for a 2-month period during each summer flight season to have boots on the ground leadership. While deployed you will need to have the ability and willingness to work varied field operations schedules (up to 12+ hours per day), including split-shift, part-time, early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
