Identify, treat, manage, and follow up with behavioral or psychosocial difficulties experienced by patients. Provide timely and sufficient feedback to primary care physicians and/or primary care managers regarding consultations, findings, and recommendations. Provide appropriate behavioral health interventions within the provider's training and expertise. Determine the appropriateness of the patient receiving treatment in the primary care setting and assist with implementation of treatment plans. Formulate behavioral health interventions appropriate to primary care setting and assist with patient implementation of prescribed treatment plans. Provide brief follow up consultation following treatment conclusions, including relapse-prevention education. Perform efficiently in emergency patient situations following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate persons and documenting events. Anticipate potential problems/emergencies and make appropriate interventions. Participate in the implementation of the Family Advocacy Program to include but not limited to appropriate medical examination, documentation and reporting. Develop and participate in group medical appointments including Shared Medical Appointments (SMA) and Drop-In Group Medical Appointments (DIGMA) as requested by the Primary Care Manager (PCM). Provide for unscheduled, (e.g., "walk-in"), acute consultative appointments in a timely manner for enrollees whenreferred by the physician or PCM. Assist providers with physical examinations, treatments and diagnostic procedures. Assist provider with completion of reporting and required documentation regarding communicable disease andsexually transmitted diseases to the proper authorities. Maintain effective communication with staff, patients, families, and other departments. Facilitate communicationbetween the patients with other providers/departments. Clinical Psychologist Job Qualifications: Graduate from an APA accredited college or university APA internship/residency PhD P sychology 1 year experience as a licensed psychologist Basic Life Support (BLS) Computer competency Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license.
