Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, is looking for a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/Gyn to join its busy and growing medical practice. Grand Itasca is a fully integrated multi-specialty clinic and hospital located in Northern Minnesota. Practice Opportunity The practice consists of a balance of clinical and surgical services including: Gynecologic surgery, routine and high-risk obstetrics, ultrasound, incontinence surgery, infertility, and general women's health care. Four day work week One full day of OR Call average of one in four Back-up Family Medicine physicians providing obstetrical consults and operative vaginal deliveries RN first assist available for scheduled and on-call OR cases Approximately 350 deliveries/year About Grand Itasca Grand Itasca is a fully integrated clinic and hospital with over 600 employees, including over 60 providers providing primary and specialty care such as: Family Medicine Pediatrics Internal Medicine OB/Gynecology General Surgery Cardiology Oncology Urology Anesthesiology Radiology Orthopedics Emergency Medicine Chiropractic Pathology Grand Itasca providers see 10,000 to 12,000 clinic patients per month. The hospital operates a 10-bed intensive care unit, 13-bed women's health and birth unit, 27-bed medical/surgical/pediatric unit, and a Level III Trauma Center emergency department that averages 16,000 visits on an annual basis. The primary service area of the clinic includes roughly 50,000 people. In the local and surrounding community, Grand Itasca is the dominant provider of primary care services. Grand Rapids is approximately 3 hours from Minneapolis, 90 min from Duluth.
