Supply Chain Coordinator

Description:
The purpose of this position is to support procurement, warehouse and receiving operations in the scope of supply chain management. This new function will require high level detail with the capacity to deliver pre-determined results with accuracy. The position requires strong analytical and problem solving skills, and resourcefulness to ensure compliance and documentation requirements are met. Responsibility : Understand the scope of the supply chain process and related activities. Working knowledge of functional and/or Quality Assurance testing of a product to ensure test reports are in accordance with its intended use for form, fit and function. Review inventory demand requirements to schedule purchase orders and meet customer needs Maintain purchasing documents, related files and records for future reference and use Ability to arrange priorities daily, weekly, monthly to meet the demands of the supply chain stakeholders. Knowledge of the process of reconciling invoices with purchase orders and goods received reports in order to authorize payment of invoices. Update Available to Promise functionality with Purchase Order confirmed ship dates. Working knowledge of the process of capturing and comparing the business processes and performance metrics for improvement (doing things better, faster and cheaper). Develops and maintains a variety of Excel reports in support of department KPI's. Discrepancy reporting and resolution; the knowledge of techniques and systems tools required to effectively support procedures, identify key missing elements and then report upward. Support the evolution within the planning process for developing tools/systems and relationships that supports accurate planning, as well as other databases within the business related to shipments and inventory management items. Understand the process of improving various aspects of the business resulting in increased profits, improved product of greater customer satisfaction. Present ideas for process improvement; apply LEAN principles. Report any food safety concerns to Supervisor for resolution, including a food package that is open to the food for any reason. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Experience in inventory and purchasing related systems. Working knowledge of ERP, harmonized tariff and US Custom Compliance for import and export. Intermediate (minimum) level of Excel skills required. Excellent oral and written skills. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Demonstrated team work and ability to effectively collaborate with and lead others. Relentless determination and courage to get things done. Effective problem solving skills. Ability to communicate and influence at certain levels of the organization. A minimum of 3 years related experience.
