The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Internal compliance regulatory functions of the Gaming Commission, and the overall general accounting and financial reporting requirements for the Tribal Government’s grants and contracts/programs. Min: $56,734.91 ($27.277) Mid: $70918.64 ($34.095) Max: $85,102.37 ($40.914) Full benefits package. Minimum Mandatory Qualifications Seven years experience in governmental accounting. Five years supervisory experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting. Knowledge and complete understanding of integrated-automated accounting, payroll, and accounts receivable software systems. Ability to multi-task. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to work collaboratively across departmental functions. Basic operation of a workstation (turning on/off, knowledge of basic functions and components) and general office equipment. Use/storage/maintenance of multiple usernames and passwords. Computer-related problemsolving skills through the use of available trainings and help desk. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), internet software and appropriate storage of electronic files. Ability to perform other duties as assigned. A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers. Preferred Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Experience in AS 400 computer systems In performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees of Bois Forte Band of Chippewa are expected to conform to the following: Uphold all principles of confidentiality to the fullest extent.
