You will help launch and operate a new brand in the Alberta, Ontario and Quebec markets powered by Ocado Group’s world-leading e-commerce grocery platform. Voilà will be the most reliable and convenient way for Canadians to shop for groceries. Your groceries delivered. Just like that. ™ Overview The Fleet Shunter Supervisor will support the home delivery function by overseeing the yard operations of Voilà. They will lead a team of shunters and manage the movement of delivery vans to ensure that their loading/unloading meets the requirements of the operations activity cycle. This is an 8 month contract role. Schedule: Wednesday – Saturday, 5am – 3pm Job Description Direct the daily activities of a team composed of 4 to 6 shunters from the Voilà facility Manage the movement of delivery vehicles on site to ensure that their loading/unloading meets the requirements of the operations activity cycle Actively participate in the recruitment and development of shunters Set up and monitor operating procedures Support the vehicle maintenance team to ensure vehicle reliability and availability Coach and provide continuous feedback on the work and performance of the team Maintain vehicle operator records Support continuous improvement using feedback from Operations Drive team engagement, development and retention.
