Maintenance Supervisor Wigan £45,000-£50,000 DOE Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our Chemical Manufacturing client in Wigan. The successful candidate will join a well-established, large COMAH site working days. Maintenance Supervisor Benefits · Company Pension · Healthcare - BUPA cover · 33 Days Holidays Maintenance Supervisor Requirements: · Model and promote an organisational culture that fosters safety through effective leadership · Must be trained in Mechanical Engineering · Must hold IOSH Managing safely · Ideally have NEBOSH Level 3 certificate · Must have experience in a similar role · Must have experience of management of projects and teams · Ideally have experience working with chemical reactors repairs and maintenance · Experience of a COMAH site ideally The Maintenance Supervisor's Responsibilities will include: · Support the effective running of production. · Ensure direct reports are fully aware of their position, responsibilities, accountability, and job function including objectives · To accurately complete and update all necessary documentation relating to the Engineering manual in a timely manner, including referencing, SOP's, Risk backssments, and toolbox talks · Ensure engineering spares and stores is managed effectively Ensure engineering personnel are suitably trained to carry out their roles.
