If this sounds like you then we may have your perfect opportunity We're seeking an experienced and supportive Support Worker to join our small, well: established, team at Nickleby Road to provide housing related support to our customers. We provide support for adults with learning disabilities, through short: term accommodation to help build independent living skills. We're a national award: winning service and pride ourselves on delivering a high: quality service to our customers. We value our team and encourage learning and progression through our comprehensive induction programme, as well as ongoing training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression. We have our own Learning and Development Academy, who provide a wide range of training courses, open to all. The position of Support Worker is referred to internally at Sanctuary, as Project Worker. Read more about Nickleby Road on our website The role of Support Worker will include: : Regularly backssing the needs of customers by writing and updating support plans and signposting access to education, training, and employment : Supporting customers in their day to day living i. e. with cooking and cleaning: Offering advice in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions: Assisting customers with managing finances and welfare benefits : Encouraging social inclusion and helping customers to build their confidence, resilience, and self: esteem: Working with statutory and non: statutory agencies on behalf of the customers and actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as an advocate when required : Completing.
