Job Title : Repair Technician Location: USDA National Center for Animal Health (NCAH), 1920 Dayton Ave., Ames, IA 50010 Requirements: Previous experience in electrical repair and maintenance, specifically with UPS systems, is highly desirable. Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety protocols. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications and procedures. Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with NCAH personnel. Tasks: Replace transformer board for UPS-6 in Building 20, Room BM43A. Conduct necessary tests and recertify UPS function. Implement LOTO process to control energy sources. Coordinate LOTO programs with NCAH FEU personnel.
