Description:

Must be from Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Coralville, Marion, Hiawatha, IA and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities:-Conducting oral health assessments and screenings-Cleaning and scaling teeth to remove plaque and calculus-Applying fluoride treatments and sealants-Taking and developing dental x-rays-Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques-Administering local anesthesia when necessary-Assisting the dentist during procedures-Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation Experience:-Experience in performing vital signs and medical documentation-Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions-Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, CAD, or Epic-Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus-Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality-Ability to work effectively in a dental office setting Please note that a valid Dental Hygienist license is required for this position.
