Senior Ecologist Leicester We are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join a well: established, environmental company based near Leicester. The company work on a diverse range of projects around the East Midlands and you will be working alongside a team of landscape architects, ecologists, flood risk consultants and arboriculturalists. The company have a hybrid set up, where you will have the option to work from home, on site and in their relaxed office. The company offer a generous bonus scheme, extended maternity/paternity package, external CPD training budgets, flexible working hours, TOIL and regular social events throughout the year. For this role, you will ideally have; Good field skills, covering a range of protected species The ability to write high quality, technical reports Experience of writing fee proposals A desire to help train junior members of the team Membership of CIEEM Protected species licence(s) or working towards licences Full UK driving licence For this Senior Ecologist role, you will be involved in; A variety of protected species surveys, Overseeing protected species licence applications and mitigation, Writing a range of Ecological reports, Helping with junior members of the team, Liaising with clients, project managers and stakeholders, Preparing fee proposals.
