If this sounds like you then we may have your perfect opportunity We're seeking an enthusiastic Project Worker to make a difference to the lives of our customers. At The Avenues Project, we support single adults who are experiencing homelessness and provide them with safe accommodation and the skills and knowledge to move back into the community successfully. We provide a comprehensive induction programme as well as on: going training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression. Sanctuary has their own Learning and Development Academy, who provide a wide range of training courses, open to all. We are looking for candidates with a passion for supporting people with complex needs to live as independently as possible, someone who values kindness and patience and treats others with dignity and respect. The role of Project Worker will include: : Supporting our customers to maximise their independence and move forward with their lives: Assisting with backssing customers' needs by writing and updating customer notes/support and risk management plans: Supporting customers in their day to day living i. e. with cooking and cleaning: Being a first point of call to receive and direct all customer queries: Developing good relationships with customers, helping them develop life skills: Working with external agencies to support customers in accessing specialised support services: Handling occasional emergency/challenging situations: Some health and safety responsibilities e. g...
