The Loop Speech, Language, and Learning is a private practice that partners with independent schools in Chicago to provide support to their students during the school day. We are currently interviewing for a part time Speech Language Pathologist for the 2023/2024 school year. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Great opportunity to work with a growing private practice that serves pre-school through 8th grade students. Current position is around 10 hours/week at two schools in Chicago with opportunity to grow the caseload. Applicants must have experience with school-aged children with articulation, language, fluency, literacy, and learning needs. Job requirements include, but are not limited to the following: IL SLP license and ASHA CCCs required, ILPEL preferred. Provide diagnostic assessment and therapeutic services to students Develop and implement individualized learning plans or IEPs utilizing an educationally based model with goals aligned to educational standards Participate in required meetings Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and staff Participate in activities that support students’ educational programs Complete compliance activities including: daily progress notes, weekly documentation of all services delivered, and quarterly report of student achievement The Loop SLL can offer: Continuing education opportunities Pay commensurate with experience Work Remotely No Job Types : Contract, Part-time Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Professional development assistance Schedule: Flexible schedule Monday to Friday during school hours (8am-4pm) Education : Master's (Required) Experience : Speech therapy: 4 years (Preferred) License/Certification: ASHA CCCs (Required) IL PEL (Preferred) Powered by JazzHR
