Description The sonographer provides clinical support and is responsible for performing all vascular imaging as it pertains to patient needs. Cardiac testing includes, but not limited to: Adult Echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and Stress Echocardiograms. Performs non-invasive vascular exams in order to assess for vascular disease or disorders which include, but are not limited to: upper and lower venous duplex exams, upper and lower arterial physiologic and duplex exams, carotid artery duplex exam; duplex exam of graft/fistula; and renal artery duplex exams. Performs measurements and calculations according to policy and/or protocol. Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Certifications: Must be a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer/Registered Cardiac Sonographer AND Registered Vascular Sonographer through ARDMS or Registered through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Minimum Work Experience One-year experience is preferredMinimum Salary: $30.0Maximum Salary: $45.0
