Location Timmins, ON This temporary position is expected to end April 2025 Purpose Provide technical support to the surface operations (including Hollinger and Pamour Open Pits) by leading the production geology team in managing the gathering, interpretation and compilation of all geological information for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the open pit mines. Safety and Sustainability Expectations Become familiar with all aspects of the Fatality Risk Management and perform inspections, job and task observations to ensure compliance to Fatality Risk Management safety standards. Be proactive with respect to safety. Report and correct hazards as they are identified. Accountable for own health and safety performance as well as wellbeing of those in the workplace. Conform to the critical control verification process on site. Follow operating procedures, design checklists, Occupational Health and Safety Act; company policies and comply with all regulatory requirements. Actively participate in team safe meetings/discussions providing input based on observations and experience so that designs include mitigation measures/controls for all foreseeable hazards.
