Our firm is looking for an applicant who can manage case files from start to finish and help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. We need someone with excellent credentials, a real passion for helping people, and a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation and trial case experience. Responsibilities: • Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information• Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents• Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation• Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly Qualifications: • State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory• Requires a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree• A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired• Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred• Three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is a necessity• Strong Case Management System skills. We use Case Management software.
