A day in the life Manage materials at each location or designated job sites to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained. unload incoming materials from trucks and organize inventory. Pick material for subcontractors and deliver them as needed and load subcontractors with materials when necessary. Maintain warehouse vehicles, including checking fire extinguishers, maintaining driver's logs, and ensuring cleanliness. maintain organization and cleanliness of pole yards. Requirements High School Diploma Forklift Certification (on-site training provided) Preferred: one year of warehouse experience, current and valid Commercial Driver's License for interstate commerce, and DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Perform moderately complex mathematical calculations Organize and maintain vendor and supplier catalogs and literature. Adhere to safety rules. Understand product lines. Understand cooperative material management policies and guidelines. know proper load tie-down techniques to ensure proper and safe transportation.
