Position Overview: As a Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing and administering payroll operations. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will also oversee various aspects of the company's financial activities, including general ledger accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor and client contracts management. Responsibilities: Administer payroll functions, including benefits and timecard management. Conduct routine accounting tasks such as processing invoices and reconciling accounts. Support the maintenance of accounting systems and subsidiaries. Implement and manage accounting policies and procedures. Assist in the generation of month-end and year-end financial reports. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting Minimum of one (1) year of accounting experience required. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced experience with MS Excel. Proven ability to identify and resolve complex issues effectively. Demonstrated creativity and innovation in problem-solving. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to coordinate projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Demonstrated initiative and independent judgment. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
