CONFERENCE AND EVENTS SUPERVISOR We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about events, and who has been working in a similar role in a four-star hotel previously. Bringing an upbeat positive attitude, and the ability to manage your own schedule effectively, as the CONFERENCE AND EVENTS SUPERVISOR you will be an excellent communicator with an eye for detail and have exceptionally good administration skills. This role requires close working relationships with the Event Sales Manager and Banqueting Managers and a person who is used to working to tight deadlines in a fast pace environment. The role will consist of. Day to day operations of events happening Meeting and Greeting with organizers to ensure the event runs smoothly Set up and clear down for the events Ensuring conference rooms/areas are up to the highest standards Delivering excellent standards of customer service at all times by listening, understanding and dealing with customer queries in a confident, professional, knowledgeable and friendly manner - and leading and motivating the team to do the same Using initiative to make the right decisions Effective communication with the kitchen team e. g. in relation to food allergens Assist with ensuring that high standards of hygiene, safety and general housekeeping are met at all times Ensuring personal cleanliness and that of the team is to a high standard at all times (clothes, hands, PPE etc) Passing customer feedback to management Dealing with complaints in Events through to a successful resolution Maintain vigilance against theft of services Attending staff meetings and relevant training courses For the successful Conference and Events Supervisor candidate there is the opportunity to shape the venue and business to your own high standards working with a fabulous proactive team.
