Included within these responsibilities are web and mobile application development services, mobile application promotion and distribution (via the MADLab), the academic toolbox (the learning management system and associated applications), web hosting services (CMS), collaborative applications (i. e. MS Teams) and enterprise video-mediated applications. The Mobile Application Development Lab (MADLab) Manager contributes specific technical and organizational expertise to the team, but does so with a global sense of ownership and pride for the entire ARC ecosystem and experience at the University of Toronto, and an understanding that their actions have an effect far beyond the specifics of the MADLab's initiatives. Your opportunity: Under the direction of the Manager, Application and Mobile Development, and the Director, Academic Research & Collaborative Technologies, the MADLab Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology Services (ITS) MADLab initiatives. The MADLab Manager promotes mobile application development and other emerging technologies at Uof T by: designing workshops and creative engagement opportunities for our community, managing a dedicated space for technology access and mobile app development (the MADLab at Gerstein Library), providing practical leadership by writing software for mobile app platforms and contributing to mobile app projects, assisting departments.
