About the Position The Part-time Customer Service Representative will be responsible for customer interaction and assistance. This is a part-time opportunity with our growing organization. Our ideal candidate would work Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, but we're flexible with the hours. This opportunity is completely onsite at our Mentor location. The position offers PTO on an accrual basis. The Part-time Customer Service Representative will report directly to the Auto Glass Manager. Essential Job Functions Professionally answer incoming calls from customers, insurance agents, and other parties to listen to their needs and answer any questions they have. Gather all information necessary to schedule a repair and book service appointments. Using basic sales techniques, create quotes and communicate to potential customers originating from our Website, Yelp, SMS, Social Media, and other inbound channels. Assist in billing and accounting. Keep in contact with customers and give updates throughout the repair process. Contact Insurance companies as needed to check in, answer questions or help coordinate glass service with one of their policyholders. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent At least 2 years of customer service experience Ability to operate a computer and telephone systems while seated for extended periods of time Ability to work part-time Previous experience in the Body Shop or Glass Repair industry preferred but not required Characteristics Sought Strong communication skills Outgoing and friendly personality Ability to multi-task and stay organized Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
