Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Brewer to join our team. The Assistant Brewer will work closely with our Head Brewer and other team members to ensure the production of high-quality craft beer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the brewing industry and contribute to the success of our brewery. Responsibilities: Assist in all aspects of the brewing process, including milling, mashing, boiling, fermenting, conditioning, and packaging. Operate brewing equipment and machinery efficiently and safely. Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the brewing process. Assist with recipe development and experimentation under the guidance of the Head Brewer. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and organized brewery environment. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production. Represent the brewery at events, tastings, and festivals as needed. Requirements: Previous experience working in a brewery or similar production environment preferred. Strong passion for craft beer and a desire to learn and grow in the brewing industry. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality beer. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 160 pounds) and perform repetitive tasks. Basic understanding of brewing principles and processes is a plus. Formal brewing education or certification (e.g., brewing certificate, Cicerone certification) is a plus but not required.
