This new office will be an essential development centre to propel the growth of our company through transformational programs for Go-To-Market and Enterprise Data Analytics teams. You will be working on top priority initiatives that span new and existing technologies - all to deliver outstanding results and experiences for our Customers and employees.About Go-To-Market Team:The Business Technology Go-To-Market team works in close partnership with our business partners to help fuel growth and revenue goals for Workday, along with driving exceptional Customer and employee experiences. The team is responsible for developing and supporting innovative architecture-led solutions for our Marketing, Sales, Services, Customer Support & Legal business functions with Salesforce being the primary platform alongside other cutting edge platforms like SnapLogic for Integrations, Service cloud, Customizations, AWS as PaaS, Coveo Search Platform, OKTA for SSO and others. About the Role Responsibilities: Technical: Ability to debug very complex code. Identify root cause for given problem statement, propose improvement in code by means of either best practices or solution redesign within Salesforce Ecosystem or outsideHands-on experience in Salesforce Lightning Experience & Lightning Components implementation.Strong proven experience on designing salesforce solutions with best practices. Software Application Development on the Salesforce platform using Object Oriented design methodologies and Salesforce technologies- Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Salesforce IntegrationsEnsure Salesforce best practices have been followed.Knowledge of CI/CD tools and relevant implementation best practices.Application/component design experience with Salesforce.com capabilities including integration scenarios.Hands-on in designing & configuring custom objects, custom fields, custom formula fields, validation rules, page layouts, custom reports, automation tools as per application requirements.Application/component design experience with Salesforce.com capabilities including integration scenarios.Create documentation, maintain standardization and look for ways to continuously improve processes & procedures. Business/Functional: Develop expertise of Workday Go-To-Market business applications end-to-endDevelop subject matter expertise of Workday's Enterprise Applications including Integrations About You Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on Salesforce experience in configuring and developing custom Apex/Visualforce/Lightning code in the areas of Service CloudAbility to debug complex code and propose solutions.Ready to learn new technologies like Heroku / SNAPLOGIC /AI etc.Strong knowledge of Salesforce security standards. Apex security best practices.Manage, track and report progress for multiple initiativesWork closely with the technical team and lead team of developers and QA. Work in collaboration with BSA and Business stakeholdersExperience in workflow and approval administration, creating validation rules, maintaining custom objects, customising fields, page layouts, list views, Bulk data uploads using the Data LoaderExperience with a complete software development life cycle 1-2 years' experience developing with LightningExperience on an Agile Scrum project delivered under Continuous Delivery / DevOps is preferredKnowledge of Service cloud Other Qualifications : Ability to lead team of developers working on multiple initiatives.Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications(preferred)Experience in workflow and approval administration, creating validation rules, maintaining custom objects, customising fields, page layouts, list views, Bulk data uploads using the Data Loader.Salesforce best practices, design standards, integration frameworks etc. Salesforce.com developer certification, Experience of Service CloudMust be a good teammate and a quick learnerExcellent oral and written communication skillsCapable of interacting with technical and functional teams and communicating challenges and risks.Proven sense of accountability, taking ownership over projects and responsibilities and resolving issues proactivelyBachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent in experience).
