Lockheed Martin's Camden Operations facility is amanufacturing, final assembly, test and storageoperation for MFC programs. As a Quality Inspector you will work in variousenvironments helping to ensure that missiles,launchers, and other products that will protect ournation from its adversaries conform to requirementsand function as expected. As a Quality Inspector you may do the following:* Perform visual inspections on in-process andcompleted products as per defined planning/workinstructions* Check dimensions, verify functionality and performrequired quality inspections defined in planning/workinstructions* Create quality/service notifications for all noted nonconformance's, perform sorts and stock purges* Work from blueprints/drawings, interpretspecifications* Audit assigned work area for compliance torequirements such as age of materials, calibrations ofequipment, area content and tagging Basic Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED equivalent* Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Outlook,Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is a plus* Must have the desire and/or ability to use inspectiontools such as digital calipers, go/no go gages,micrometers, fixtures and other basic gages* Ability to work from inspection instructions,blueprints/drawings and specifications* This position will be located at a facility that requiresspecial access and requires the selected candidate tobe a US citizen* Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance* Must be able to work in various climates and aroundexplosive Desired Skills: * Prior inspection experience in a productionenvironment* Prior SAP/APRISO/MRO Software experience is a plus(on the job training will be provided)* Strong teaming ability and effective communicationskills* Critical thinking and problem solving * Be able to work independently Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
