You deserve the job you loveVolt is immediately hiring for a Quality Laboratory Technician in Newport Delaware.As a Quality Laboratory Technician you will:As a member of the Quality lab, you will be responsible for performing a variety of functions that support the LC column manufacturing process to ensure that products meet specifications. This will include:· Performing quality control testing on a variety of in-process and finished products.· Maintaining documentation and assisting in compliance with the Quality lab system.· Providing accurate and timely results of testing.· Using computers to record, document, report and communicate.· Conducting calibration and standardization of instruments as needed.· Executing common laboratory processes and procedures.· Assisting with the development of tests for new methods and procedures, as needed.This is a full time contingent opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:A minimum of 3 years relevant experience is preferred.· Working knowledge of manufacturing support functions including Quality Control is a plus.Critical Skills & Behaviors· Ability to effectively perform analytical test methods according to standard operating procedures.· Knowledge of common laboratory processes and procedures such as preparation of buffers and chemical standards along with good math skills.· Experience with HPLC, ChemStation software, and column loading is a plus.· Ability to evaluate analytical test data revealed by lab tests.· Familiarity with computers (Microsoft Office).· Ability to learn quickly on the job.· Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate and cooperate in a team environment with an appreciation of the value of working in partnership with others to accomplish company goals that drive value creation.Pay Rate: $28.00-$30.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
