As a Combustion Controls Technician at Gillespie & Powers, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our company's mission and leading our team to greater achievements. We look forward to receiving your application and answering any questions you have about filling our Combustion Controls Technician. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Install and commission industrial burners. Troubleshoot and diagnose burner related issues. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation. Calibrate and adjust burners for optimal performance. Conduct safety checks and compliance with regulations. Upgrade and retrofit existing burner systems for improved efficiency and emissions control. Collaborate with engineers and facility managers to design and implement burner systems for specific industrial processes. Remain up to date with industry standards and technological advancements in burner technology. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong understanding of combustion principles, control systems and safety protocols. Advanced mathematics, science, and mechanical skills. Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: HVAC, combustion system, or related degree or certificate or equivalent experience of 5+ years.
