Our mission to honor God and defend freedom is accomplished by serving customers and providing top quality solutions to our military, law enforcement and civilians that are seeking premium firearms for home defense, hunting, and sport shooting.As the Range Lead, you will be responsible for the functions outlined below: Essential Functions: Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures. Successfully complete all Daniel Defense certification courses. Has conducted self with highest regard to company, organization, leadership and team expectations. Able to properly conduct inspection of upper and lower receiver for any manufacturing or cosmetic defects as well as Armorer Quality checks in accordance with Daniel Defense standards. Ability to properly assemble all DD specific firearms in accordance with Daniel Defense standards. Conforms to and operates within the framework of all applicable operator work instructions, SOPs, quality, safety procedures and any items deemed by your supervisor or management. Provides adequate support, training and development to team members to continuously improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity. Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1+ years of firearms experience or equivalent combination of education and experience necessary to fulfill the requirement of the position. Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Moderate to proficient firearms knowledge Able to successfully take and pass the NRA Range Safety Officer course. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. May be required to work varying shifts as needed and be able to manage time efficiently. Identify and apply corrective actions on all Daniel Defense processes. Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Permission to Play Values. It is understood employees may be assigned to other departments, functional groups, and/or shifts as deemed necessary by management Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc. Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
