Neurology physician job in Alabama : Dothan, Alabama, Neurologist Opening Clinical Role: Seeking a BC/BE General Neurologist to join its well-established Neurospine Center Ideal candidate will possess fellowship training in Neuromuscular Disorders/Neurophysiology or completion of an Neurology residency with 6 months dedicated to training in EMG/NCV Physician will treat patients in a hospital-based NeuroSciences outpatient clinic that is conveniently located on the Medical Center's campus Outpatient responsibilities only Hours are M-F, 8a-5p No weekend, call, or holiday requirements Practice at one location, no travel required Neurointerventionalist and neurohospitalists practice with the neurosciences team Stroke teleneurology is provided Neuromuscular Rehab & Balance Center is available Dedicated NP in the Clinic One of the largest not-for-profit tertiary referral centers in Alabama 420 licensed bed regional referral center and one of only three Comprehensive Stroke Centers in the state 3,000 + dedicated employees 400+ active Medical Staff 22 ORs with 2 endovascular suites Interventional cardiology, EP and radiology labs, lithotripsy, 3 MRIs (1 a 3-T), 3 CTs including a fixed 64 slice CT and PET Scanner 24/7 Neurosurgery coverage with 3 employed neurosurgeons and 1 fellowship trained neuroendovascular interventionalist 56 total ICU beds with a 10-bed dedicated Neuro Critical Care Unit Medical Hospitalist program provides ED unassigned coverage, care for transfers, and inpatient consults 28 bed inpatient psychiatric program Serves over 600,000 in a 75-mile radius Level 2 trauma center staffed by EM residency trained physicians One of 3 Comprehensive Stroke Centers in Alabama with a dedicated lab for neuroendovascular procedures open heart surgery suites Pain Management services provided through OPT services on campus 28 bed inpatient psychiatric program Accredited Internal Medicine and Transitional Year residency programs The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) is Alabamas first osteopathic medical school and the first in the U.S. to be developed by a regional medical center.
