Description Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Electronic/Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.Primary ResponsibilitiesThis position will work on a variety of products to include both military and commercial customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, computer skills associated with assembly tasks, including proficiency in using corporate production control processes, and creating documents and spreadsheets for manufacturing information such as work instructions, parts lists, and inventory reports.The candidate will be responsible for electronic and mechanical assembly of a variety of electronic hardware including:Electrical chassisCablesElectromechanical assembly effortsBasic QualificationsCandidate must have the following qualifications:Experience reading mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and other manufacturing documentation.Experience assembling electromechanical assemblies, some of which are small.Experience with cable fabrication and general mechanical assembly.High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.Experience assembling cable harnesses.Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.Other QualificationsThe following qualifications are a plus:IPC certification for cable assembly.Experience in testing electromechanical assemblies.Associates degree in a technical discipline or in lieu of an associate's degree, 3+ years of directly applicable experience with a High School diploma or GEDSecurity RequirementsCandidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.Original Posting Date:2024-05-15While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $31,850.00 - $57,575.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
