The ideal candidate should possess exceptional writing and research skills, critical and audacious thinking abilities, and strong oral advocacy. Additionally, they must demonstrate a tremendous work ethic, tenacity, and sound ethics in their practice.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis related to civil litigation cases, particularly those involving tribal law issues.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and arbitrations.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court throughout the litigation process.Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations impacting litigation and tribal law.Requirements:State Bar licensure in Washington state or Oregon.Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation or judicial clerkship.Proficiency in handling cases involving tribal law is highly desirable.Impeccable writing and research skills.Strong oral advocacy abilities.Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills.Demonstrated work ethic and tenacity.Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:State Bar licensure in Washington state or Oregon.Skills:Excellent writing and research skills.Strong oral advocacy abilities.Critical thinking and analytical skills.Attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Benefits Offered:401(k) planDental InsuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance
