Description:
Responsibilities: Testing software applications, websites, or mobile apps to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility across different platforms and devices. Creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications. Identifying and documenting software defects, bugs, and issues using bug tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla. Collaborating with developers, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and provide feedback on product quality. Performing regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested software still performs correctly after changes. Participating in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, including requirement analysis, design, development, and deployment phases. Providing timely and accurate reports on test progress, test results, and overall quality metrics to stakeholders. Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Previous experience in QA testing or software development roles is a plus. Powered by JazzHR
