Senior Director Partner Success About Sandy Hook Promise   Sandy Hook Promise  (SHP) is a national nonprofit organization with a mission to end school shootings, and create a culture change that prevents violence and other harmful acts that hurt children. Through its life-saving evidence-informed  Know the Signs  prevention programs, SHP educates and empowers youth and adults to recognize, intervene, and get help for individuals who may be socially isolated and/or at risk of hurting themselves or others. SHP is a moderate, bipartisan organization that supports sensible policy solutions that address the human side of gun violence and make schools safer. SHP is led by several family members whose loved ones were killed in the tragic mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.    Commitment to Racial Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion   SHP strives to ensure its culture and work environment reflect the values of race, diversity, equity, and inclusion (REDI) and is responsive to the views and issues of the diverse communities with which we live and work . SHP encourages individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to equity and inclusion to apply.   Position Summary   SHP is looking for a strategic thinker and cross-functional leader to join our team as Sr. Director, Partner Success reporting to the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Implementation. In collaboration with the AVP of Implementation and the Vice President of Business Development, the Sr. Director, Partner Success will be responsible for coordinating the team’s core strategic planning rhythm and driving a set of Success-wide strategic priorities. This highly strategic and cross-functional role must be adept at communicating and managing relationships at an executive level and able to direct cross-functional work in collaboration with many other internal teams including Curriculum and Content, Development, Federal Grants, Business Development, and Technology. This position requires 50% travel. Job Responsibilities    The Sr. Director of Partner Success will lead the overall vision for the work of the Partner Success Team with business goals, focusing on enhancing product knowledge, leading a positive customer experience, and driving growth through expanding existing SHP footprint and increasing cross-programmatic retention. Under the direction of the AVP of Implementation, the Sr. Director will: Lead, mentor, and develop Partner Success Directors, setting clear expectations, goals, and development plans to retain high-quality partnerships that will cascade to the entire team Define partner segmentation strategies, support models and opportunities for continuous improvement through appropriate accountability metrics Define ambitious retention and expansion goals and identify other key performance indicators of success Ensure continual data accuracy and discover additional metrics for tracking to enhance partner satisfaction. Ability to synthesize strategic priorities of K12 districts, LEAs and other educational providers and articulate alignment to SHP programs to identify expansion opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships Create a collaborative team environment that fosters innovation, continuous learning, and a focus on partner-driven results Develop partner engagement strategies to support the needs of diverse partners from a variety of geographies Support SHP funding partnerships (Federal Grants, Corporate, and Foundation Partnerships to include concept paper development, funder presentations, and management of restricted grant deliverables). Be willing and able to travel as necessary within the United States, up to 50% Qualification s At least 7 years of experience in workforce or strategy leadership role in education professional learning or services background At least 3 years of experience in cross-functional leadership role, leading and managing end-to-end execution of large, complex cross-functional projects or programs Exceptional ability to tackle new ambiguous problems and build right-sized solutions that balance short-term and long-term needs High intellectual curiosity with an entrepreneurial spirit Strong presentation skills with exceptional written and oral communication utilized for both internal and external audiences Proven stakeholder engagement and management experience, coupled with finesse in building collaborative, mutually beneficial partnerships Team player with a commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity Preferred Qualifications Passion for and commitment to the importance of high-quality, knowledge-rich curriculum and improving K-12 education in the US Prior education leadership or management expertise Understanding and experience in utilizing change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci) Highly organized with proven experience developing and executing successful workplans and managing budgets on multiple large-scale projects at once Exceptional data management and strong metrics-based orientation, with demonstrated ability tracking and reporting impact using tools and technology such as Salesforce  Experience, ability and willingness to embrace and value diversity of all kinds; comfort participating in conversations about racism and equity, and working cross-culturally and cross-community Other duties as required Benefits and Salary Range   The salary range for this position is $110,000-$120,000. ( SHP follows a strict internal rubric to help guide salary placement and ensure equitable pay amongst new hires and current staff.
