Job Description: CBD American Shaman is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a background in fulfillment and manufacturing Accounts Payable to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong analytical skills to manage accounts receivable processes efficiently while leveraging their knowledge of fulfillment and manufacturing accounts payable. Responsibilities: 1. Accounts Receivable Management:* Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner.* Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue invoices.* Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.* Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.* Maintain accurate records and documentation of all transactions.2. Customer Relationship Management:* Communicate with customers to address inquiries, resolve payment discrepancies, and negotiate payment terms if necessary.* Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.3. Cash Application:* Process incoming payments and accurately apply them to customer accounts.* Reconcile cash receipts and deposits regularly.4. Reporting and Analysis:* Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and implement collection strategies.* Generate monthly financial reports related to accounts receivable performance.5. Process Improvement:* Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline accounts receivable procedures and enhance efficiency.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and best practices.6. Fulfillment and Manufacturing Accounts Payable Support:* Leverage knowledge of fulfillment and manufacturing accounts payable processes to provide support and collaboration with relevant teams.* Assist in resolving any cross-functional issues related to accounts receivable and payable processes. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.* Proven experience (X years) in accounts receivable management.* Strong understanding of fulfillment and manufacturing accounts payable processes.* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, especially Excel.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.* Experience in process improvement initiatives is a plus.* Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and compliance standards.* Certification such as Certified Accounts Receivable Manager (CAR), Certified Credit and Collection Professional (CCCP), or similar is preferred.
