DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial settings. Your expertise will help ensure the efficient and safe operation of our equipment and machinery.As an Industrial Electrician, you will work with a variety of electrical systems, including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing any electrical issues that arise, as well as performing routine maintenance to prevent future problems. You will also be involved in the installation and layout of electrical systems in new construction projects, ensuring they comply with all relevant codes and regulations.The ideal candidate for this role has a solid understanding of electrical systems and a strong attention to detail. They are able to work independently and solve complex electrical problems. They have excellent communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety.Responsibilities * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings. * Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues that arise. * Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future problems. * Install and layout electrical systems in new construction projects. * Ensure all electrical systems comply with relevant codes and regulations. * Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics. * Test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning. * Collaborate with other maintenance and operations staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent. * Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems. * Journeyman Electrician license or other relevant certification. * Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician. * Knowledge of electrical systems and associated tools and equipment. * Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Commitment to workplace safety. * Ability to work independently and in a team. * Flexibility to work evening, weekend, and on-call shifts as required. * Physical stamina to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment.
