The candidate will be responsible for crafting case strategies, taking and defending depositions, drafting substantive motions, collaborating with staff and investigators on discovery and fact-finding, and pursuing resolutions through motions for summary judgment, mediation, or trial. The caseload will encompass various practice areas, including civil rights, employment, tort, and other actions. Duties:Manage and litigate cases from inception to resolution.Craft case strategies.Take and defend depositions.Draft substantive motions.Collaborate with staff and investigators on discovery and fact-finding.Pursue resolutions through motions for summary judgment, mediation, or trial. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state Bar of California.2-4 years of litigation experience.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Experience in civil rights, employment, tort, or related areas preferred. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the state Bar of California. Skills:Litigation experience.Case management skills.Legal research and writing abilities.Deposition experience.Motion practice experience.Strong communication and negotiation skills.
