Gastroenterology physician job in West Virginia : Locums Charleston, West Virginia, Gastroenterology Openings Clinical Role: Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Start Date: 07/01/2024 Contract Length: 12 months Shift Details: Options for 7 on 7 off or 14 on 14 off Schedule: 30 days of coverage 7a-7p We would like to have a commitment for one week at a time, hopefully, one week on and one week off, or at least one week a month, so that we can plan our internal schedule around it. Support staff: NPs Monday Friday Amount of coverage needed per month: 30 days 3 providers needed Patients per day: Consult volume vary with patient census averaging 25 patients Patient population/age: Rural population with high acuity GI service division. Multiple pathology. Adult 18 and above Department description: Gastroenterology needing inpatient GI coverage. 7 on shift inpatient consultation plus procedures to manage one of two teams. 2nd team would be GI teaching service. 3rd position would cover 7 on, alternating with current faculty. Total of 3 locum need EMR: Cerner Special procedures: EGD Colon non-advanced procedures Skills required: Routine GI Practice Setting: Hospital Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Active WV License Required DEA: yes Certifications required: ACLS Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
