Family-owned and operated community association management company located in Seminole has an immediate opening in accounting for a G/L (Financial Reporting) Specialist. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of financial reporting/journal entry experience. Business hours are Monday through Friday from 9-5 with a 1 hour paid lunch. G/L (Financial Reporting) Responsibilities include: providing timely and accurate monthly financial reports for a portfolio of our clients monitoring and reconciling association bank accounts reviewing general ledger accounts for accuracy coordinating with associations' CPAs for year-end tax returns or audits. preparing annual budget package for distribution to association managers ordering maintenance assessment and special assessment coupons depositing non-assessment checks monitoring FDIC limits for all association accounts acting as the financial liaison between association treasurer and RPM Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years’ experience in accounting, primarily in financial reporting Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Windows operating system Can evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues. Ability to multi-task, stay focused and self-manage. Strong team orientation and customer focus Thrives in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with team members and customers Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be willing to submit to criminal background check and drug screening.
