The ideal candidate will have experience conducting workplace investigations, public sector law, or labor/employment, with a strong preference for Title IX experience.Duties:Conducting thorough workplace investigations by legal standards and best practices.Providing legal counsel and representation to educational institutions, including compliance, policy development, and employment issues.Drafting legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.Collaborating with clients and colleagues to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.Requirements:Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting workplace investigations.Strong academic record from an accredited law school.Familiarity with Title IX regulations and procedures.Preferred experience in public sector law or education law.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Excellent research and writing skills.Strong presentation and communication abilities.Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Desire to continuously learn and grow within the field of education law.
