Our company is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company. **This is a part-time position-- 20 hrs/week** Responsibilities: Obtain primary financial data for accounting records Compute and record numerical data Check the accuracy of business transactions Perform data entry and administrative duties Fact-checking accounting information Ensuring all financial actions comply with local legal requirements Preparing financial reports by analyzing, collecting, and condensing account trends and information Using a system to account for the financial transactions made by the company to establish a chart of accounts Qualifications: REQUIRED : Must have excellent knowledge of QuickBooks Pro! Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields Great interpersonal skills that enable the Bookkeeper to clearly and effectively communicate with other employees Ability to prioritize and multitask Strong organizational skills The ability to work on multiple projects efficiently while adhering to tight deadlines The ability to communicate complex financial data with other members Excellent data entry skills Familiarity with the general principles of accounting A strong understanding of math and numbers The ability to use various financial transactions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
