The Music Ministry Leader is a 10 to 12-hour-a-week position tasked with planning, preparing for, and leading a weekly worship service. Qualifications This position requires a testimony of a life that trusts in and walks with Jesus Christ and who can lead with humility and express love for the church. A person in this position must have experience planning, preparing, and leading worship services, as well as the ability to work with, inspire, and lead a variety of musicians. Responsibilities Coordinate with the Pastor to select songs appropriate for each service. Distribute music to instrumentalists and vocalists each week. Schedule volunteer vocalists and instrumentalists through Planning Center . Weekly mid-week rehearsal (60-minutes). Weekly Sunday morning worship service (60-minute rehearsal at 8 am and 60-minute service at 10:30 am) Work with AV supervisor regarding CCLI, Song Select, slides, and Pro Presenter.
