FUNDRAISER | SOUTH PALM BEACH OR BROWARD COUNTY BASED ROLE | FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE | BASE PAY $77,180-$82,628 + UP TO 20% BONUS What will you be doing? As our Fundraiser (Vice President of Advancement), you will be responsible for cultivating relationships that results in new corporate sponsorships, community partnerships and mid-level individual donations in Southern Palm Beach and Broward Counties. This work helps us deliver on our mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. Every day, you will be responsible for attending community events and connecting and communicating with prospective donors and community partners. Every week, you will develop proposals and track and report on how your communications, meetings, and prospects are anticipated to meet or exceed assigned fundraising goals for events and programs in our donor database and moves management database by assigned deadlines. You will also meet with your supervisor and colleagues to discuss, plan, and collaborate on near-term department priorities. At least monthly, you will be expected to report on stewardship efforts. Each quarter, you will help your team execute a special event. You will also be expected to fundraise specifically for and support our Broward County Emerald Awards event. Annually, you will contribute to the creation of the department budget, plans and priorities. To thrive in this role, you must enjoy meeting new people at in person events, understand the Girl Scout brand and Girl Scout Leadership Experience, be able to identify synergies between Girl Scouts and the person or organization you are communicating with, be able to close new sources of support within assigned timelines, enjoy working collaboratively with others, and be personally committed to meaningful stewardship. The next Fundraiser will also be tenacious, organized, a team player and a motivational communicator. The Fundraiser reports to the Advancement Officer and will work on advancement initiatives throughout our six-county Council jurisdiction, with a special but not exclusive emphasis on Southern Palm Beach and Broward Counties. The Fundraiser will join a team consisting of a Director of Advancement, Grants Manager, and Events Manager. Who are we seeking? Someone with solid communication skills and the ability to build, maintain and leverage relationships to meet fundraising goals. A Fundraiser with prior experience identifying new prospects, closing new sources of support, and stewarding existing donors and sponsors through multi-year relationships. A tech-savvy Fundraiser who is comfortable working at an organization that is embracing technology and transitioning to a paperless environment. A Fundraiser who is organized, detail-oriented and possesses excellent time management skills who can plan, organize, and prioritize work, to successfully meet multiple deadlines. A Fundraiser who has the ability to work independently within a collaborative environment. What else will you need? Bachelor's degree required ; graduate degree preferred. Minimum of six years recent, relevant experience required. CFRE or similar certification strongly preferred, Working knowledge of Donor Perfect, Salesforce, Moves Management or similar databases/software strongly preferred. Experience working in a nonprofit organization preferred. Bilingual (Spanish or French) preferred. What will you get? The hiring range for this position is $77,180-$82,628. This is an exempt, out-based Fundraiser position that will work a flexible schedule from southern Palm Beach and Broward County that supports the business needs of the organization, including evenings and weekends.
