New Hope Community Church in Bryan, OH is seeking a dynamic and passionate Youth and Young Adults Pastor to join our team. This individual will provide leadership and oversight for both the youth ministry (grades 6-12) and the young adults ministry (ages 18-30). The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to Christ, a heart for discipleship, and a desire to see young people and young adults grow in their faith. Our Values: Compassion Acceptance Community Generosity Responsibilities: Spiritual Leadership : Provide spiritual leadership to both the youth and young adults ministries by teaching biblical truths, leading worship, and facilitating small group discussions. Discipleship : Develop and implement discipleship strategies that foster spiritual growth and maturity among youth and young adults. Relationship Building : Build strong relationships with youth, young adults, and their families through regular communication, outreach events, and one-on-one mentoring. Program Development : Plan, coordinate, and execute engaging programs for both youth and young adults, including weekly gatherings, retreats, mission trips, and special events. Volunteer Recruitment and Training : Recruit, equip, and empower volunteers to serve within the youth and young adults ministries, providing ongoing training and support. Community Engagement : Establish connections with local schools, organizations, and community groups to engage youth and young adults outside of church walls and provide opportunities for outreach and service. Pastoral Care : Provide pastoral care and support to youth, young adults, and their families during times of need, crisis, or transition. Collaboration : Work closely with the lead pastor, church staff, and leadership team to align the youth and young adults ministries with the overall vision and mission of the church. Administrative Responsibilities : Manage budgeting, event planning, communication, and other administrative tasks related to the youth and young adults ministries. Qualifications: Education : Bachelors degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (preferred). Experience : Previous experience working in youth and/or young adults ministry or related field preferred. Faith : A vibrant and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, with a commitment to biblical orthodoxy and the mission of the church. Leadership : Strong leadership skills with the ability to cast vision, delegate tasks, and empower others for ministry. Relational Skills : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with youth, young adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. Team Player : A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Organizational Skills : Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Character : Demonstrates integrity, humility, and a servant heart in all interactions and responsibilities.
