We applaud you for taking steps to ReInvest in yourself...we can't wait to help you succeed in this program.We are looking for qualified, motivated experienced professionals who have taken a break to invest in their families and loved ones and are now looking to ReInvest in their career. Our ReInvest Program is a 6 month paid program, beginning September and ending late March. Opportunities are available across a number of business units. What You'll Do: Spend 6 months in a paid returnship program with a cohort of your peers Take on meaningful project work based on your expertise and experience Participate in development workshops and training sessions designed to support your career re-entry Have regular check-ins with a mentor who can advise and guide you What We're Looking For: You have taken a career break for one year or more and are interested in getting back to full-time work You have had a minimum 3 to 5 years professional work experience prior to your career break, at Associate-SVP level You are a person of integrity, with strong interpersonal and communication skills Who You'll Work With: The Legal and Compliance Department is responsible for ensuring compliance with all of the legal and regulatory requirements to which we are subject, protecting the firm from regulatory and reputational risk across the globe, and strengthening the firm's culture of compliance. We do this through collaborative partnership with the business units we support by providing thoughtful and timely advice. In addition, the department conducts global monitoring and training activities that detect, address and mitigate regulatory and reputational risk. The advice coupled with the monitoring and training activities provide the framework to support the firm's business strategy and objectives while maintaining a high standard for integrity. What You'll Do: Respond to written and verbal inquiries and requests Document collection and preparation for meetings, reviewing and drafting correspondence, memoranda and other written communications Provide support in litigation matters, including reviewing discovery materials and other pleadings Respond to inquiries regarding business immigration matters, escalating to in-house or outside immigration counsel, as appropriate. Conduct legal research, as needed. Initial review of NDAs and other agreements, engagement letters, and conflict waivers General organization of files including keeping tracking charts of current projects and their status Assist in legal matters relating to data privacy, private wealth management and international matters What We're Looking For: A Paralegal certificate The ability to manage competing priorities and be extremely well organized Attention to detail, utilized to proofread important documents Exceptional clear and concise interpersonal communication skills in order to problem solve situations to meet the expectations of demanding clients Comfortable using technology and learning new systems Nashville, TennesseePDN-9c0db48f-bb4f-49b9-97cf-956bf2c3f8fd
