Our CMCA Head Start Childcare Centers need full-time Substitute Teachers in the Columbia and Jefferson City area to make a positive impact in children's lives. Work with infants and toddler up to 5 years old, helping them develop and grow. Provide early childhood education. Pay is $15.84 to $19/hour. Job Requirements: Requires 60 college credit hours. Highly desired: E ither an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood, or a related degree with some coursework in Early Childhood, or a CDA. Experience teaching preschool age children required. Daycare, preschool, or childcare work experience is helpful. Prefer experience working with low-income families and children. Valid driver's license required. Benefits: Excellent insurance package Generous paid vacation and sick time, 10 paid holidays, and p aid winter break Work vehicle provided Overtime available 4 day work week Opportunities for advancement.
